Job summary

Fortinet Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic Professional Services Consultant to lead deployment, migration and optimization of Fortinet solutions for customers in Malaysia. You will conduct design workshops, translate requirements into design, and act as a trusted advisor during project delivery, leveraging strong network security knowledge.

Candidates should have 8–10 years of relevant experience, including LAN/WAN and security products, with Linux/Windows proficiency, and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years+ relevant network security experience
• 5+ Years’ experience in LAN/WAN /Internet Support or Administration
• 3+ Years’ experience with Network Security Products
• Strong understanding of core Internet protocols and applications
• Scripting experience (Python) & experience of API (Restful API)
• External network security & vendor certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Carry out Professional Services engagements in a professional & timely manner for Fortinet customers & deliver projects with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Develops a clear overall understanding of the customer requirements (project scope, technical requirements and solution design)
• Conduct design workshops with customers and stakeholders both remotely as well as onsite.
• Lead the deployment, migration and optimization of Fortinet solutions in customer environments.
• Execute project tasks in accordance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor during project delivery and provide technical consultation to customers.
