Job summary

SLB in Malaysia seeks a Degree+ Flow Assurance Engineer to assist in developing cost-effective solutions and meet project objectives in a timely fashion. You will perform steady-state and dynamic flow simulations, evaluate operating strategies for hydrates, paraffins, and corrosion, and contribute to design reviews and field procedures.

Collaborate with clients and contractors, mentor junior engineers, and help develop internal tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or above required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives.
• Perform steady-state and dynamic flow simulations to evaluate pipe sizing and thermal performance.
• Analyze operating scenarios including start-up, shutdown, and pigging.
• Develop operating strategies addressing flow assurance risks (hydrates, paraffins, corrosion, emulsions).
• Prepare field operating procedures and participate in design reviews and HAZOP/HAZID.
• Provide technical reports, training, and support to field and customers.
