Job summary

Genesis Energies in Malaysia seeks an experienced Flow Assurance Engineer to coordinate risk analyses and deliverables on oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.

You will support the Lead Flow Assurance Engineer, apply PHAST/SAFETI/Bowtie analyses, and contribute to safe, reliable operation of subsea and onshore systems. Requires 5–8 years in risk and safety within oil and gas, a Chemical Engineering degree (MIChemE preferred).

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering; MIChemE preferred.
• 5–8 years of risk and safety experience in oil and gas.
• Experience with safety studies and risk analysis methods.
• Ability to produce clear technical reports and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk and safety analyses for assigned projects.
• Prepare safety cases, hazard registers and Bow Tie diagrams.
• Apply PHAST/SAFETI/CFD tools to model risks and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
