Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, forecasting, and decision support. You will partner with Ops and Finance teams to improve profitability, optimize costs, and strengthen working capital using advanced analytics.

The role also focuses on leveraging AI, automation, and finance tech to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making across Finance and Operations, including ERP integration and BI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field.
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling.
• Proven expertise in developing and utilizing sophisticated financial models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models to evaluate profitability, costs, investments, and scenarios.
• Monitor operating income, margins, working capital, cash flow, and KPIs.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Support strategic planning and long-term business growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business Units, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
• Build data models and predictive analytics tools for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Develop AI-enabled finance tools to enhance self-service reporting.
• Partner with IT to implement Finance AI transformation initiatives.
• Integrate ERP systems with reporting and analytics platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement through RPA, AI, and BI technologies.
