Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia seeks a Software Developer Specialist to design, develop, test, and deploy robust software for site manufacturing operations. Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with product owners and analysts, and mentor regional resources while staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE.
• 5+ years in software development in enterprise data ops, analytics or reporting.
• Proficiency in at least one OO language (C#, Java, Python, C++).
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong relational DB knowledge and SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Critical Manufacturing MES is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications supporting site manufacturing operations.
• Participate in full SDLC in an agile environment; translate requirements into technical specs.
• Collaborate with product owners and analysts to deliver software that meets business needs.
• Conduct integration and system testing; troubleshoot defects and provide timely fixes.
• Mentor regional/site resources and drive process improvements in development.
