Job summary

Inari Technology Sdn Bhd in Penang invites an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee finance operations including AP/AR, GL, fixed assets, cash flow and treasury activities. You will drive monthly, quarterly and year-end closes and provide insightful financial reporting and variance analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with professional accounting qualification preferred (ACCA or MIA).
• At least 8–10 years of finance and accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, cash flow management and internal controls.
• Experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor or multinational environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel; strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance operations covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, cash flow and treasury matters.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting.
• Review financial statements, management reports, variance analysis and KPIs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for assigned entities.
• Strengthen finance processes, internal controls and compliance with group policies and statutory requirements.
• Review payment vouchers, vendor documentation, customer billings and other key transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and banking facilities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other stakeholders.
• Support management in financial analysis, cost optimisation and strategic initiatives.
• Guide and develop team members to ensure efficient operations and continuity.
• Resolve financial issues and provide timely recommendations to management.

Key responsibilities

Review payment vouchers, vendor documentation, customer billings and other key finance transactions.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and banking facilities.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers and other relevant stakeholders.

Support management in financial analysis, business decisions, cost optimisation and strategic initiatives.

Guide, coach and develop team members to ensure efficient finance operations and continuity.

Resolve financial issues and provide recommendations to management on a timely basis.

Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

About you

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or MIA is preferred.

At least 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, cash flow management and internal controls.

Experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor or multinational environment is an added advantage.

Familiar with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
