Job summary

VHR Consultancy is supporting a US-based multinational client to recruit a Senior Manager – Finance to lead the finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial distribution environment. You will own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling, drive FP&A, partner with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain, and oversee pricing strategy, cost control and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in finance with 4–5 years in leadership, professional qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualifications preferred.
• 15+ years progressive finance experience including 4–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong FP&A, finance business partnering, pricing and margin management.
• Manufacturing or industrial distribution experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling.
• Drive FP&A, business performance analysis, and strategic financial insights.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to support business decisions.
• Oversee pricing strategy, cost management, gross margin, and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax obligations, and internal controls.
• Manage finance operations, including AP, AR, treasury, and cash flow.
• Drive cost optimisation, inventory management, and capital expenditure evaluation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
