Job summary

Genting Malaysia Berhad is seeking an accounting professional to support monthly reporting and financial statements in Kuala Lumpur. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with group teams.

You will prepare MPR reports, assist with SAFs, tax estimates, and assist in annual profit plans. Degree in Accounting and professional qualifications preferred; 2+ years of accounting experience; strong English and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Performance Review Report (MPR).
• Prepare subsidiaries' financial statements, including MPR, quarterly SAFs, P/L analysis, and tax return estimates.
• Prepare GENM Group level P/L schedules and performance slides for EXCO, Audit Committee and Board.
• Assist in preparation and finalisation of GENM Group's quarterly announcements.
• Coordinate, plan and monitor GENM Group's yearly profit plan exercise.
• Liaise with internal parties for reporting needs of the Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of Monthly Performance Review Report (“MPR”)
• Preparation of subsidiaries financial statements, which includes of preparation of MPR, quarterly Standard Accounting Forms (“SAF”), analysis of Profit or Loss, yearly tax return for submission to IRB, estimation of tax payable and statutory financial statements
• Preparation of GENM Group level and divisional monthly and quarterly profit and loss schedules, salient and performance slides for EXCO, Audit Committee and Board meeting
• Involve in the preparation and finalization of GENM Group’s quarterly announcement
• Involve in coordinate, planning and monitoring of GENM Group’s yearly profit plan exercise
• To administer, coordinate and liaise with various parties concerned for necessary actions with regards to the various reporting needs of the Group
• Any other ad-hoc assignments related to CPP-Reporting

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
• Finalist/Member of professional body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).
• At least 2 years of accounting experience. Analyst experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Meticulous and highly organized.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
• Computer literate.
