Job summary

Averis in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Operations professional to manage daily finance and accounting tasks and ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of processes. This role focuses on month-end close, cost controlling, and compliance across statutory and internal reporting.

You will collaborate with function teams, review balance sheets, and respond to audits while overseeing ad-hoc requests from Business Groups to drive continuous improvements and value for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end activities within SLA.
• Advise function teams on payment runs and ensure timely execution.
• Review monthly balance sheet aging and recommend actions.
• Review GST/GTP/BNM related reports.
• Ensure quality in Cost & Controlling tasks; perform cost reconciliation and analysis.
• Review group financial reports for internal, statutory and management reporting.
• Resolve issues raised by Business Groups.
• Handle daily task/system queries; raise issues to CSC for improvements.
• Respond to compliance audits and audit queries.
• Handle ad-hoc requests from Business Groups.
