GN ReSound (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Kulai finance team. You will lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities include monthly variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, building financial models and dashboards, and partnering with stakeholders to provide actionable insights for decision-making in a multinational manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, FP&A, accounting, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience working with large data sets and translating data into actionable insights.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Kulai, Johor. This is a full-time position to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. The Finance Analyst will partner with stakeholders across the business to provide accurate insights, support sound decision-making, and help drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting, including actual-versus-budget and actual-versus-outlook variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to management.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
• Partner with business functions to provide financial guidance and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
• Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, and financial review processes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of financial data and reports.
• Assist with investment cases, profitability analysis, cost optimization initiatives, and ad hoc business analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and data quality.
• Support compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant financial procedures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, FP&A, accounting, or a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience working with large data sets and translating data into actionable business insights.
