Job summary

EVD Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is looking for an experienced accounts professional to manage the full set of accounts and prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses. You will close monthly and yearly management accounts and maintain an accurate general ledger.

Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, coordinating statutory audits, and assisting in annual financial and tax audits, with additional duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• Experience handling monthly and yearly management accounts.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and post journal entries.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience coordinating statutory audits and liaising with auditors.
• Knowledge of tax audits and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare financial statement, reports, budget, forecast, cash flow statement, costing analysis and project costs allocation.
• In-charge of closing of monthly & yearly management accounts.
• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete, up-to-date and accurate general ledger.
• Coordinate statutory audits, liaise with external auditors/tax agents/relevant government.
• Assist in annual financial and tax audits.
• Perform any other related duties that management may require from time to time.
