Job summary

Uvynos is seeking a practical, hands-on Application Engineer to optimize HVAC/ACMV systems in commercial buildings. You’ll design, commission and integrate BMS, DDC and SCADA solutions while working in field environments.

You will write control sequences, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure energy efficiency without compromising comfort. Travel to project sites is required; a valid car is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with BMS, DDC or SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
• Willingness to travel to project sites with own car.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Bonus: experience with Siemens Desigo CC or Niagara frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and commission BMS and DDC setups for ACMV/HVAC equipment.
• Develop and optimize control sequences to improve energy efficiency.
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA and third-party equipment via Modbus, BACnet.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues in field and labs.
• Mentor junior technicians and support clients.
