Molex is seeking a Sr Engineer, Field Application to provide technical expertise for customers using SMT, PTH, and Press-Fit interconnect solutions. You will serve as a key technical resource, driving product success and innovation while collaborating with global teams.

You will coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and reliability labs, mentor teams, and participate in front-end design reviews, FMEA, and product releases to ensure robust implementations and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of electronics industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of soldering and Press-Fit technologies.
• Experience with SMT, PTH, and Press-Fit manufacturing processes.
• Proven problem-solving, critical thinking and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global environments.

Mansioni

• Coordinate internally with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Advanced-Quality Planning, and Reliability Test Laboratory.
• Liaise externally with customers, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and test laboratories to resolve issues.
• Lead initiatives to develop SMT/PTH/Press-Fit guidelines and train teams.
• Act as SME on SMT/PTH/Press-Fit applications and provide guidance to multiple teams.
• Participate in design reviews including DFM/DVPR/FMEA and product releases.
