Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage the facilities mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing. You will own the reliability of chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, and fire and life safety systems including all cleanroom equipment, coordinating with cross-functional teams on new projects and expansions.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and own reliability of facilities mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, and cleanroom equipment.
Lead and supervise the integrated facilities management (IFM) team and coordinate with cross-functional groups.
Plan staffing levels and utilization of IFM resources, including overtime.
Prepare and review operating budgets, cost center coding, and reports.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance to facilities operations requirements.
Provide supervision, performance appraisals, and mentorship to staff.
