Job summary

Bosch in Penang, Malaysia, invites an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead the PgP1 Facilities Department (FCM). You will oversee budget setting, training, vendor management and long-term planning for a large facility, ensuring safety, compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Facilities Management or Engineering, including at least 5 years in team leadership and 5 years managing large facility, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong ability to collaborate with leadership, cross-functional teams, contractors, and authorities; skilled in negotiation and alignment.
• Ability to set clear direction, make informed decisions, and guide teams through complex operational and project environments.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and building infrastructure systems, ensuring reliable facility and utility performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget setting, target monitoring and training within FCM.
• Manage property real estate in line with directives and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and health standards.
• Lead long-term plans for the FCM department.
• Oversee external contractors with quality and timeliness.
• Oversee daily operation of mechanical and electrical facility systems.
• Drive cost/resource reduction programs.
• Lead projects ensuring budget and timeline adherence.
