Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the team responsible for maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. You will guide operations, ensure preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests to keep facilities reliable.

The role requires a Diploma in M&E and 5+ years in related work, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts.

Qualifications

• Diploma / relevant certificate in M&E with 5+ years of job-related experience.
• In-depth understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
• Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
• Exceptional math skills with ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Set the team goals for performance and deadlines. Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision. Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback.
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Announce important information from upper management to employees.
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve timecards.
• Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
• Verify adherence to legal and company policies and procedures; complete disciplinary actions if needed.
• Resolve complex problems and identify approaches to meet team objectives.
• May establish new techniques to ensure the team meets its objectives.
• Has a direct impact on team objectives and related teams.
• Ensure personal and team outcomes positively impact customer objectives.
