Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant audit experience in external audit or public accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACA or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of statutory auditing procedures and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with MFRS, IFRS and relevant auditing standards.
• Experience managing assignments and supervising juniors.

Responsibilities

• Handle external audit engagements from planning to completion in accordance with auditing standards.
• Review financial statements, supporting documents and accounting records for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct audit testing, risk assessments and evaluations of internal controls.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, reports and related documentation.
• Supervise junior auditors and provide guidance throughout engagements.
• Identify audit findings, discrepancies and potential compliance issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders to obtain financial information and resolve audit matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and improve engagement efficiency.
