Job summary

WEZMART & ASSOCIATES PLT seeks a detail-oriented Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements for a diverse client base in Malaysia. You will plan, execute, and review audits, preparing financial statements in line with the applicable frameworks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, ensure compliance with auditing standards, and support the Audit Manager in delivering high-quality audit services. Key Accountabilities/Duties

Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries

Plan audit assignments, assess risks, and develop audit strategies

Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Prepare audited financial statements in accordance with applicable reporting frameworks

Liaise with clients to resolve audit issues and provide practical recommendations

Supervise, guide, and review work of junior audit staff

Ensure deadlines are met and deliver high-quality audit services

Requirements

Candidates should possess a full or partial professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent), Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Banking or equivalent.

Familiar with MPERS, MFRS, Companies Act 2016, and Income Tax Act 1967

Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant audit experience.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and/or stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
