Job summary

What you'll be doing?

• Lead audits: Handle audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring thorough and accurate financial assessments.
• Mentor juniors: Review the work of junior team members and provide practical guidance to support their professional development.
• Client communication: Engage directly with clients on audit matters, building strong professional relationships.

Who are they looking for?

• Accounting qualification: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, MICPA, or related professional accounting qualification to ensure a strong foundation in financial practices.
• Audit experience: 3-6 years of experience in audit firms (Big 4, mid-tier, or boutique practices) with a solid understanding of MPERS/MFRS and ISA standards.
• Independent worker: Comfortable working autonomously while also able to mentor junior staff and demonstrate strong technical competency in audit processes and client management.
• Language skills: Proficiency in English and Malay to effectively communicate with diverse clients and team members.
• Software familiarity: Experience with audit software aBot and familiarity with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards is advantageous but not required.
