Job summary

Global Exhibitions & Conferences Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly organized Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of exhibitions, conferences, and events. This role requires hands-on leadership and experience in the exhibitions and events industry.

You will manage all operational aspects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, supervise contractors, and travel to event sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in exhibitions, conferences, or events.
• Strong experience in event planning, operations management, and project coordination.
• Good knowledge of exhibition floor plan design.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, or related editing software).
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills with experience managing contractors and vendors.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Willing and able to travel to manage operations at event sites.
