Job summary

LBS Bina Group Berhad is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects from conception to completion, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and authorities in Malaysia. The role involves planning, feasibility studies, and development of design concepts, ensuring work aligns with specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of working experience in property development or construction.
• Familiar with work scheduling/planning and report writing.
• Ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Responsible for smooth and proper implementation of construction projects from conception to completion.
• Involve in plan checking, simple layout drafting, project inception feasibility study, design conceptual and development.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Monitor construction works to ensure completion within deadline and according to design and specification.
• Attend authorities and consultants meetings and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Quantity Surveyor to address contract, building materials and specification issues.

Job Requirements

• Preferable candidate who possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized institution
• Preferably 2 year(s) of working experiences in property development or construction industry
• Familiar with work scheduling / planning and good in report writing
• Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Required skill(s): MS Office, Excel, MS Project, Power Point, Autocad, etc.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
