The IT Senior Executive provides day-to-day technical support and ensures all Christine’s Bakery Café outlets operate smoothly with reliable IT systems. The role focuses on POS system onboarding and support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, data accuracy, and coordination with vendors and finance integration.
Key Responsibilities
POS System Setup & Support
- Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of POS systems at all outlets.
- Provide frontline support to outlet teams on POS operations and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with POS vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and feature enhancements.
- Ensure data synchronization between POS and finance/accounting systems.
- Train staff on POS usage, cash register handling, and system best practices.
Daily IT Operations
- Handle all IT-related requests including laptop, desktop, printer, and network issues.
- Maintain stable internet connectivity and Wi‑Fi setup for all branches.
- Ensure antivirus and software licenses are up to date and compliant.
- Monitor system performance and minimize downtime across outlets.
- Keep inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and spare units.
- Extract daily and weekly sales data from POS and verify accuracy before submission to Finance.
- Support operations in generating reports such as AC, TC, sales by product, or category.
- Highlight anomalies or technical issues in data flow and follow up with solutions.
- Work with POS and IT hardware vendors to ensure timely support and system maintenance.
- Coordinate upgrades, replacements, or relocation of IT equipment.
- Support digital tools and system integrations (e.g., online ordering or delivery platforms).
Documentation & SOP
- Maintain asset list, login credentials, and user access control records.
- Prepare IT troubleshooting guides for common issues.
- Ensure proper backup of critical data and POS configuration.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in F&B or retail.
- Familiar with POS systems (StoreHub, Slurp, Toast, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and support multiple outlets.
