Job summary

Radium Development Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accountant to support consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and management analysis.

You will prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, perform variance analysis, ensure MFRS compliance, and assist during audits. Strong Excel and attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to audit, statutory reporting, consolidation, or record-to-report functions.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, consolidation concepts, and reporting standards (e.g., MFRS).
• Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports, schedules and analysis for management and statutory reporting.
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and reasonableness checks on consolidated results.
• Support the development of monthly and annual budgets and implement budgeting controls.
• Assist in reporting packs, management presentations, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist compliance with accounting standards (e.g., MFRS) and internal group policies.
• Aid in audit preparation by providing schedules, supporting documents, and responding to auditor queries.
• Handle day-to-day administrative and operational activities and ad-hoc duties as needed.
