Job summary

OSK Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage the full set of accounts, oversee month-end and year-end close, and ensure timely reporting. You will handle invoicing, accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition, and supplier/payable processing in IFCA.

You will also coordinate audits, tax submissions, treasury activities, and team leadership while upholding internal controls and compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Professional certification, ie: MIA, ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in construction / Property industry
• Able to work independently with multiple priorities and tight deadlines (Initiative & Committed)
• Strong Problem Solving Skill, Analytical Thinking and Leadership
• Knowledge of IFCA or MHW is added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end / year-end closing activities.
• Process and post FA listings, accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition, and subcontractor/supplier invoices in IFCA.
• Check collections/payments from/to AR/AP; ensure bank reconciliation in IFCA is timely.
• Assist in monthly management slides, annual budget and periodic forecast; review project ledger vs budget.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries; draft annual audit reports.
• Coordinate with tax consultant for annual tax returns and regulatory filings.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and responsible for month-end / year-end financial closing activities, journal postings and prompt submission of relevant reports on timely manner.
• To ensure all FA Listing, Accruals, Prepayments, Profit Recognized, Subcontractors and Supplier invoices are processed and posted accurately into IFCA. Resolve any accounting discrepancies and highlight any irregularities.
• Check and verify collections/payments from/to all accounts receivables / payable. Ensurebank reconciliation in IFCA is perform on timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management slide, annual budget and periodic forecast exercise.Analyze and review Project Ledger compared to construction budget.
• Prepare Audit schedule requested by auditor and prompt response to audit queries as well as drafting of annual audit reports.
• Liaise with tax consultant for annual submission of tax returns. Handle all kind of tax audit andother regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documents.
• Liaise with bankers on reviews and handle overall treasury function including cashflow reporting.
• Assist and lead team members to enhance their skills and knowledge and manage the team performance to ensure work are smooth.
• Ensure internal control, policies and procedure are followed and financial reports are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard
• Handle accounting software issues as and when arises with GIT / system vendor to trouble shoot problems.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
