Job summary

B Braun is seeking a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Data Analyst (Supply Chain) to conduct and provide global data analysis from Penang, Malaysia. You will extract and present spend data, analyze demand, review contracts, and prepare RFI/RFP documentation to support procurement and business units.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with Power BI or SAC, and an analytical mindset with the ability to handle large datasets and create KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and developing KPI performance reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from B Braun systems (Spend Analyser) and present spend data at category/division/country/supplier level.
• Analyze future demand and plans for specific categories and review existing contracts and terms.
• Calculate savings baselines and update data into Initiative Tracker.
• Prepare RFI/RFP documentation including covering letters and bidder information.
• Issue and evaluate RFI/RFPs and analyze bids; monitor supplier performance.

Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager - Data Analyst (Supply Chain)

To conduct and provide Supply Market / Data analysis to Category Managers, Procurement colleagues and Business Units globally from a base in Penang, Malaysia. This includes the following elements.

Data Analysis

a) Extraction of data from B Braun’s systems (ie Spend Analyser), preparation and presentation of spend data at category, division, country, supplier level

b) Analysis, investigation and preparation of future demand and plans for specific categories

c) Review of existing contracts and contract terms

d) Calculation of savings base lines

e) Entering and updating data and project information into B Braun’s data bases, including the ‘Initiative Tracker’

f) Issuing and preparing supplier pre qualification data

g) Preparation of RFI/RFP documentation including covering letters, bidder information

h) Sending out RFI/RFP and analysis of bid

i) Monitoring and analysis of supplier performance

Market Research

a) Conducting market analysis on suppliers and supply markets applicable to specific categories as directed by Category Managers

b) Review industry dynamics and trends and provide updates to Category Managers

c) Conducting searches on suppliers and provide supplier ‘long lists’ to Category Managers

d) Conducting desk top supplier evaluation, for example financial evaluations

What you will bring to the team :

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
