Job summary

Career Horizons in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to support demand forecasting and inventory optimization. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance and HQ to identify demand drivers and lead the S&OP cycle with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning and a strong focus on data analysis and forecasting. Join us to improve forecast accuracy and manage stock efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business required.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance and other functions to identify demand drivers.
• Build baseline, promotions and new product forecasts and lead the S&OP cycle with Sales, Marketing and Product teams.
• Drive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor and manage slow moving inventory and obsolescence and report to management team and HQ on time.
• Execute daily replenishment plan based on the sales plan.
• Efficiently manage the phase-out process for products reaching end of lifecycle to minimize costs of unsold inventory.
• Define stock targets per SKU at each point of sale to achieve optimal inventory.
• Work with HQ Operations teams & develop plans for improvement to achieve inventory goals and reduce obsolescence.
• Lead comprehensive reviews with local and head quarter for process improvement.
