Job summary

ECRL OPERATION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced accountant to process and record daily AP, AR and GL transactions in line with EOSB's policies.

You will monitor cash flow, prepare monthly financial reports for management, and support month-end closing with journals and reconciliations. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and professional qualifications, with 5–10 years of relevant experience and high integrity for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in related fields.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily accounting transactions for AP, AR and GL by verifying supporting documents.
• Monitor and coordinate cash flow with Treasury to ensure liquidity for operations.
• Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and presentations for management highlighting KPIs and financial health.
• Support month-end closing with journals, reconciliations and accounting schedules.
• Maintain filing and documentation of accounting records for traceability and audit readiness.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and responding to audit queries for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SOPs and internal controls; suggest process improvements.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations to verify financial information and resolve issues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent (professional qualification)

Job description

Process and record daily accounting transactions for AP, AR and GL by verifying supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with EOSB's financial policies.

Monitor and coordinate the company's cash flow by analyzing forecast requirements from the Treasury unit to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and meet the organization's financial needs.

Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management on monthly basis, highlighting key performance indicators and the company's financial health.

Support month-end closing activities by preparing journals, reconciliations and accounting schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records by organising and updating invoices, vouchers and supporting documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness.

Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis schedules by compiling accurate data and responding to audit queries to support internal and external audit requirements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SOPs and internal controls by monitoring transaction accuracy and supporting process improvements for operational efficiency.

Coordinate with procurement, operations and other departments by verifying financial information and resolving accounting issues to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
