Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Event Manager to coordinate complex property events from pre-event to post-event, ensuring seamless turnover from sales to service. The role focuses on average to large-sized events with opportunities to upsell enhancements and maximize revenue.

You will collaborate with Sales and property departments, lead event teams, and deliver exceptional service across all stages of the event lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years in event management or related field.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or related major; 1 year event experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage event logistics and operations to ensure seamless progress.
• Greet clients during events and coordinate with Operations teams.
• Ensure billing accuracy and review final bills with clients.
• Lead pre/post-event meetings for assigned groups.
• Upsell products and services to maximize revenue.
• Maintain top-level guest service throughout events.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of experience in event management or related field

2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year event experience
