Job summary

BINARY RELIANCE (SARAWAK) SDN BHD invites qualified professionals to join as Project Manager on a project-based contract. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, implement the Project Execution Plan, and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

The role emphasizes HSE, quality, schedule, and cost control in onshore/offshore contexts. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in Oil & Gas/EPC with leadership, and PMP or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant Oil & Gas/EPC experience, with project management or leadership exposure.
• 10 years’ experience and above with strong project management experience will be considered for senior-level responsibilities.
• 15–20 years’ experience in major offshore/upstream projects is an advantage.
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
• BEM registration is advantageous and may be mandatory depending on project/client requirements.
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution, cost control, planning, construction, contracting, risk management and Client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and implement the Project Execution Plan, organisation, contracting strategy and execution methodology.
• Ensure project execution meets HSE, quality, schedule, cost and commercial objectives.
• Manage project schedule, budget, cash flow, cost-to-complete and profitability.
• Manage contracts, variations, claims, EOT, notices and commercial risks with the Commercial/Contracts team.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, technical queries, materials and project deliverables.
• Direct fabrication/construction strategy, sequence and resources.
• Manage Client, Consultant, stakeholders and subcontractor interfaces and performance.
• Manage project risks, QA/QC, specifications and applicable codes.
• Provide progress, financial, risk and management reporting.
• Coordinate completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
