Job summary

BINARY RELIANCE (SARAWAK) SDN BHD invites applications for the position of Project Planner on a contract basis (project-based). The role focuses on coordinating schedules across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Delivery, ROS and Construction activities to meet project milestones.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of project planning experience, preferably in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCC, and strong Primavera P6 skills; MS

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in project planning, preferably in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCC.
• Strong Primavera P6 proficiency; MS Project and Excel knowledge advantageous.
• Knowledge of WBS, CPM, resource loading, progress measurement and S-curves.
• Senior candidates should have delay analysis, EOT and contractual schedule experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Delivery, ROS and Construction activities and schedules.
• Prepare fabrication and construction schedules, including manpower and equipment requirements.
• Track and update actual project progress against the planned schedule.
• Monitor critical activities, delays and schedule variances.
• Prepare recovery and catch-up schedules when the project falls behind.
• Prepare S-curves, dashboards, productivity and progress reports.
• Support delay analysis, EOT and schedule impact assessment.
• Coordinate schedule updates with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, subcontractors and vendors.
• Provide project completion forecasts and highlight potential schedule risks.

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential; MS Project and advanced Excel are advantageous.

Open also to fresh graduates and candidates with relevant experience.

Good knowledge of WBS, CPM, resource loading, progress measurement, S-curves, productivity analysis and schedule recovery.

Senior candidates should have experience in delay analysis, EOT and contractual schedule requirements.
