Job summary

BINARY RELIANCE (SARAWAK) SDN BHD is seeking qualified engineers for contract-based project roles in Malaysia. The position involves coordinating engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and project execution activities across multi-disciplinary teams.

Candidates should have 5+ years in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCC, strong ability to read AFC drawings and related standards, and be prepared for brownfield/greenfield projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Chemical, Marine Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with at least 3 years in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCC, fabrication, construction or brownfield/greenfield projects
• Fresh graduates with relevant exposure and junior candidates with engineering/construction experience are encouraged to apply.
• Able to read and understand AFC drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings and relevant project specifications.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, ISO, PETRONAS PTS and other relevant international standards is an advantage.
• BEM registration as a Graduate Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and project execution activities.
• Review AFC drawings, specifications, MTOs, datasheets and raise TQ/RFI where required.
• Prepare work packs, method statements, construction sequence and execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors against schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Commercial, subcontractors and Client.
• Monitor material availability, shortages, ROS and construction priorities.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, ITP, specifications, codes, QA/QC, HSE, PTW and JSA.
• Prepare progress reports, identify variations/delays/commercial impacts, and support completion, commissioning and close-out.
