Met T&S Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee discipline Supervisors and coordinate subcontractors on EPC petrochemical projects.

The role requires leading the development and updates to detailed construction schedules, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and HSE requirements. You will replace the Site Manager in their absence and drive recovery plans to keep construction on track.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience in construction/modernisation of large Petrochemical plants/EPC projects.
• Strong subcontractors and construction/commissioning management experience in EPC projects, Large/XL plants.
• Similar role covered in projects of comparable size.
• Experience working on Contractor side.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the implementation of the HSE management system at site.
• Organize and lead weekly meetings with the discipline Subcontractors.
• Participate in construction meetings with the Client.
• Promote Field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule.
• Verify congruity of the works with technical specifications.
• Verify material delivery schedules to coordinate construction activities and optimize the relevant schedule.
• With the collaboration of the Site Control Manager, prepare detailed schedules and define priorities.
• Check that schedules are kept to and promote recovery plans in case of delay.
• Coordinate all site activities, and interfaces between Disciplines, to limit overlaps.
• Assist and cooperate with Supervisors in the management of subcontracts, extra-works and changes.
• Together with the Commissioning Manager, ensure congruence between Construction and Plant Pre-commissioning.
• Collaborate with the Contract Engineer in preparing changes and claims.
• Prepare own section of routine work progress reports.
• Perform discipline quality inspections according to the Inspection Plan and procedures in liaison with the QAE.
