Job summary

T.T.E. Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced M&E engineer to manage multi-discipline site operations in Malaysia. The role focuses on HVAC, clean rooms, process utilities, BMS, ELV and related systems, with emphasis on design approvals and cost considerations.

You will review drawings, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking clients to ensure timely completion within tight schedules. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• At least 6 years in similar role with experience in HVAC, cleanroom, and related systems.
• 10 years of relevant industrial or construction operations experience preferred.
• Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin required for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle M&E spatial clashes and site installation priorities.
• Oversee Air Conditioning, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV and related services.
• Review drawings and assess design requirements.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

At least 6 years in similar role with work experience in engineering or building and construction works, HVAC, cleanroom, process utility system, BMS, ELV, firefighting systems.

Good knowledge in projects management in industrial projects/semi-con projects. Technical knowledge required to deal with daily job tasks.

Good in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin both in writing and communication. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Computer literate and proficient in Ms. PowerPoint and Ms. Excel.

Able to work with tight schedule.

M&E consultancy backgrounds or experienced M&E Managers for design approvals, commercial/cost capabilities, calculations, and authority compliance (BOMBA, ST, SPAN, DOE, etc).
