Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Sr Engineering Planner in Malaysia to ensure on-time product delivery and optimize lead times by understanding BU capacity and coordinating with engineering and production teams. The role focuses on production control, BOM maintenance in SAP, ECO implementation, and supplier solutions to mitigate delays.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in manufacturing planning, experience with SAP, and the ability to work with upper management to keep schedules aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; strong planning/scheduling knowledge.
• Experience with high mix/low volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Experience presenting ideas clearly and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor final product approvals through PDP process.
• Coordinate production plans to meet schedules and material availability.
• Interface with MPM, marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Resolve shortages, backlogs, and interruptions to maintain on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement production control functions including scheduling and material planning.
