Job summary

Adecco's client, a leading multinational in the semiconductor sector, seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering Operations in Malaysia (Klang Valley). You will steer engineering strategy, resource planning, product support, and cost-reduction initiatives to align with global objectives.

You will lead sustaining engineering, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing team while driving improvements across quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering, R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, or Operations leadership.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving KPIs and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing (Front-End and Back-End).
• Willingness to travel within APAC for knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining engineering strategies aligned with global R&D and product groups.
• Manage resources, budgets, manpower planning, and project execution to meet targets.
• Drive sustaining activities, improvements, and cost-reduction programs.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support product roadmaps with technical direction and capability planning.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and global stakeholders to deliver objectives.
• Oversee engineering documentation and escalations while driving continuous improvement.
