We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance firmware and low-level driver software for our edge computing and embedded hardware product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, optimized embedded solutions that power our next-generation EdgeAI devices.
Core Mandatory Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages for embedded development workflows
- Professional Experience: 5–10+ years of hands-on, direct experience building and deploying firmware or hardware-level device drivers for embedded systems. Experience in building edgeAI solution will be a plus.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical STEM field.
- Soft Skill: Proven track record as an effective team player, with experience collaborating with hardware and software engineers, QA teams, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule
Preferred (Plus Point) Qualification
Practical working experience developing, integrating, or optimizing AI/edge AI workloads on embedded hardware platforms in creating solution, is a strong, highly desired advantage for this role.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and debug low-level embedded firmware and device drivers for microcontroller and SoC-based hardware
- Write efficient, memory-safe, well-documented production code in C/C++, and use Python for automation, testing, and prototyping tasks.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bring up new embedded hardware platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware-software interface issues
- Contribute to embedded software architecture design and code review processes
- Work with edge AI solution engineering teams to deploy lightweight AI inference models on constrained embedded devices (if you have relevant experience)
