This is a full-time, on-site role based in Penang, Malaysia for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software for Kendryte K230-based edge-AI products, including computer vision and audio processing applications. The engineer will develop firmware and software modules, integrate hardware and software components, and ensure system reliability and performance. Daily tasks include debugging and troubleshooting low-level issues, reviewing code, contributing to software architecture decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as hardware, product, and QA. The role also includes maintaining documentation, supporting developer tools and reference designs, and mentoring less-experienced engineers to strengthen the K230 ecosystem.
