Job summary

RTX in Klang, Malaysia seeks a Technical Leadership & Strategy Lead to act as the senior technical authority for electronics manufacturing, including PCBA, cable harness, and electro‑mechanical integration. You will shape manufacturing strategy for new programs, drive supplier readiness for NPI, and lead complex investigations and audits.

The role requires 7–12 years in electronics manufacturing engineering, with strong knowledge of aerospace standards and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Formal education in electrical/electronics/manufacturing engineering with a technical discipline.
• Expert knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and aerospace standards.
• Experience leading supplier development, audits, and readiness for NPI.
• Proven ability to drive PFMEA, control plans, and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for electronics manufacturing processes; guide on high‑risk parts and supplier issues.
• Lead strategy development for new programs, technology insertion, and supplier industrialization.
• Oversee supplier engineering, capability development, capacity planning, and roadmaps.
• Lead advanced process development and validation for SMT, selective soldering, coatings, and testing.
• Provide leadership for complex non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Present status and mitigation plans to senior leadership and support ECPs.
