Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Technical Leader in electronics manufacturing to act as the chief technical authority for PCBA, cable/harness, and electro‑mechanical assembly. You will guide complex manufacturing challenges, lead supplier engagements, and drive technology insertion for new programs.

You will champion APQP, PFMEA, and process validation, while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and IPC standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert-level understanding of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, PCBA, cable/harness).
• Deep knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, IPC‑A‑610/620, J‑STD‑001).
• Experience leading supplier development and audits.
• Proven ability to drive cost, quality and delivery improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for electronics manufacturing processes.
• Lead supplier technical engagements and readiness for NPI and transitions.
• Develop and validate advanced manufacturing processes (SMT, coating, testing).
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and manage risk.
• Present status, risks and improvement plans to senior leadership.
• Drive APQP deliverables and support change management.
