Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Procurement or related field.
• Experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, sourcing or material procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates from electronics, EMS, PCBA, semiconductor, precision manufacturing or other relevant manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of purchasing processes, material requirements, supplier management and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, components and other requirements supporting manufacturing operations.
• Issue and manage purchase orders according to material requirements and production demand.
• Follow up closely with suppliers on delivery schedules, shortages and material availability.
• Monitor supplier commitments and take action on potential delivery delays or supply risks.
• Work closely with planning, production, warehouse and other supply chain functions to ensure material readiness.
• Manage pricing, quotations and commercial matters with suppliers.
• Support supplier negotiations on price, lead time, delivery and purchasing terms.
• Monitor inventory requirements and help prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quality, delivery and other supply-related issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing information, purchase orders and supplier records in the ERP system.
• Support cost reduction, supplier performance and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with sourcing or alternative supplier activities when required.
