Job summary

UEM Edgenta in Shah Alam, Selangor seeks a Senior Executive, Electrical for Facility Management to oversee operation, maintenance and performance of E&M systems across a building estate.

You will ensure maintenance complies with standards and SLAs, drive continuous improvement, supervise contractors, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining records. The role covers fire protection, HVAC, electrical distribution, water pumping, and emergency power systems to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Real Estate Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years in Integrated Facilities Management or building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of E&M systems, preventive maintenance, and statutory compliance.
• Experience coordinating contractors across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to guide and coach junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of E&M systems in the building estate.
• Ensure maintenance follows standards, statutory requirements, and SLAs; identify improvements.
• Foster client relationships with professional, responsive service.
• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and test E&M systems including fire protection, HVAC, electrical, water, and pumping.
• Operate and maintain emergency power systems to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for safe, compliant repairs across disciplines.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior technicians to enhance competency.
