Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• 8 years' experience in executing engineering work in oil & gas, power, petrochemical, oleochemical, water treatment or similar industries.
• High technical capability in electrical discipline.
• Ability to plan and review all engineering deliverables and drawings for technical and quality aspects.
• Able to train and supervise younger engineers and support client discussions as an expert.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer role for projects or tender work.
• Analyze technical contractual documents and design criteria.
• Ensure design deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Perform conceptual, basic, and detail design calculations and drawings.
• Plan project work to align with schedule and budget.
• Interface with Client Engineers during execution
• Prepare technical requisitions, specs, data sheets, and MTOs.
• Review vendor data and drawings and provide input to other disciplines.
