EP Engineering in Malaysia seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) to lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for oil and gas facilities. You will coordinate electrical systems testing, instrumentation, and handover to operations, ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should hold a BE in Electrical/Electronics with extensive offshore experience and strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics with minimum 8 year hands-on experience in Oil & Gas facilities and 4 year experience project commissioning in electrical systems.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership/influencing skills.
• Computer literate and skilled user of MS Office, familiar with Project Completion System.
• Hands-on experience electrical system commissioning with instrumentation: loop tests, HV/LV testing, motor tests, generator commissioning, and process system for wellhead platforms, compression modules, and power generation.
• Familiar and hands-on prepare testing check sheets, commissioning test plans and procedures.
• Must have minimum four (4) year experience working related with Electrical system pre-commissioning, commissioning and system handover.
• Medical Fit for offshore.
• Willing to go offshore and travel by air or water transport.

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent, with minimum 8 year hands-on-the-job experience in Oil & Gas facilities and 4 year experience project commissioning in electrical systems.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership/influencing skills.
• Computer literate and skilled user of MS Office, familiar with Project Completion System.
• Having hands-on-the-job working experience Electrical system commissioning with instrumentation in system setup, loop check, HV and LV voltage system testing, motor solo run test, generator commissioning and overall process system for wellhead platform, compression module, power generation (diesel or turbine generator) project.
• Familiar and hand-on prepare the testing check sheet, Commissioning test plan and procedure.
• Must have minimum four (4) year experience working related with Electrical system pre-commissioning, commissioning and system handover.
• Medical Fit for offshore.
• Willing to go to offshore and travel by air or water transport.
