Job summary

K2 Data Centres, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited, is a Malaysia-based developer and operator of hyper-scale digital infrastructure. This role supports design, construction, commissioning and handover of data centre projects across sites.

The candidate should have a strong background in electrical power design for substations and data centre environments, with international project exposure and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Power or Building Services Engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer preferred.
• 6+ years of working experience in Electrical/Power design for substations (33kV/132kV/275kV) and data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in data centre design and construction phases.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure standards and quality.
• Review design consultants’ work and ensure calculations are complete.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors and vendors for deliverables.
• Maintain K2 electrical distribution and protection system standards.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting and final handover activities.
• Support internal engineering design and development activities.
• Establish engineering and operation procedures following K2 standards.
• Travel between sites to provide on-site support as required.
• Report day-to-day tasks to the Line Manager.
