Wood is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Malaysia team in Kuala Lumpur on a 12-month fixed-term contract beginning December 2026. You will work on FEED for a major offshore redevelopment and asset life extension project in the Middle East, with exposure to greenfield and brownfield work, reporting to the Discipline Manager.

You must be eligible to work in Malaysia and bring proven electrical design experience within Oil & Gas, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation and

Qualificações

• Qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; drafting/drawing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Developing electrical design deliverables: equipment layouts, cable routing, lighting, grounding and earthing layouts, cable schedules, single line diagrams.
• Maintaining and reviewing 3D electrical models; participating in design reviews and coordination.
• Representing electrical design in HAZOPs, HazIDs and LOPA workshops as required.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient design.
