Job summary

Amphenol TCS Malaysia is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Officer to assist in developing and updating safety and health policies, implement the SHMS, and promote awareness across the organization.

You will oversee safety activities, conduct health and safety training, monitor DOSH requirements, investigate incidents, and coordinate internal/external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent qualification.
• Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid DOSH Green Book.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience in managing ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA, and customer audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating safety and health policies to meet legal requirements and support safety objectives.
• Implement and maintain the Safety and Health Management System and promote awareness across the organisation.
• Oversee workplace safety activities and health awareness programmes in line with legislation.
• Monitor compliance, provide guidance, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify unsafe acts, and submit findings to management.
• Coordinate EHS induction and refresher trainings for employees and contractors.
