Job summary
TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking an EHS professional to lead the safety program in a manufacturing setting. You will drive annual training plans, update procedures, manage internal audits, and ensure compliance with Malaysian EHS laws and TE policies.
Strong data skills and English plus Mandarin are required, along with extensive safety experience. Responsibilities include incident investigations, risk assessments and coordinating with contractors and suppliers to uphold safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety or engineering-related field.
- Minimum 5 years EH&S experience in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Malaysia EHS laws and regulations.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin; data analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Initiate annual EHS training plan & audit plan.
- Review & update EHS procedures per audits and laws.
- Lead EHS policies aligning with national laws and TE policies.
- Submit applications for Safety & Health Impact Assessments and permits.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Coordinate canteen, dormitory, contractor & supplier EHS management.
- Lead EHS projects: JSA, LOTO, Ergonomics, PPE, enviro.
