Job summary

W.R Grace is seeking a Senior E & I Technician to join our Manufacturing Team based in Kuantan, Pahang. This role reports to E & I Supervisor and focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing Electrical, Instrumentation and DCS systems to ensure safe plant operation.

Key duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, project work, calibration, documentation in SAP, RCA participation, and driving plant improvement while adhering to Grace EHS policies and LOTO rules.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years experience in related field or similar environment.
• Possess at least Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Instrument.
• Having an AO Chargeman certification will be an advantage.
• Able to work on 12 Hours Shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Electrical, Instrumentation and DCS and related process control systems to ensure safe and smooth plant operation.
• Implement preventive maintenance for DCS and PLC systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out work requests (PMD1/PMD2/project) in a safe and timely manner.
• Calibrate and maintain PM schedules, documentation, and analysis of PMD2 results.
• Read and follow manuals, procedures and work instructions; update relevant documents in SAP.
• Create Work Requests for findings/abnormalities; participate in RCA sessions.
• Lead plant improvement projects and contribute ideas for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with Grace EHS policies and PERMIT/LOTO requirements.
