A leading company in IT distribution seeks a Senior e-Commerce Marketing Specialist to enhance their B2B platform. The role involves developing marketing strategies and managing platform functionalities to boost partner engagement and streamline operations. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in digital marketing and B2B e-commerce, alongside strong organizational and communication skills.
Job Purpose:
The Senior e-Commerce Marketing Specialist at Tec D Distribution plays a key role in driving the success of our white-label B2B ecommerce platform. This role focuses on empowering our reseller partners to compete effectively by enabling them to market and sell Tec D’s product offerings more efficiently.
The specialist is responsible for executing go-to-market strategies, supporting partner recruitment and onboarding, and working closely with product managers to align marketing initiatives with business goals. This includes developing marketing plans, analyzing market and competitor trends, and continuously enhancing the platform’s value proposition.
Our ecommerce platform is a strategic tool that helps partners accelerate sales, streamline operations, and deliver stronger customer engagement. The role requires a strong grasp of B2B marketing, digital strategy, and partner enablement within the IT distribution ecosystem.
Work closely with the product manager to support go-to-market strategies and product offerings via B2B channels.
Assist in developing business strategies for e-commerce growth, customer acquisition, and sales optimization.
Define, communicate, and execute a clear vision for the platform's success, aligning with the company's overall objectives.
Manage and update B2B e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Work closely with reseller partners to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, ensuring the platform meets their requirements.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to partners, helping them leverage the platform's content and capabilities effectively.
Develop and implement a targeted partner recruitment strategy to expand the reseller network and drive sales adoption.
Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and technological advancements that impact the B2B ecommerce landscape.
Work directly with TD SYNNEX IT team on functionality and/or any developmental initiatives.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the platform's go-to-market strategies.
Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Support marketing teams on digital campaigns, EDMs, and promotional initiatives tailored for B2B e-commerce.
3-5 Years of experience in B2B e-commerce or digital marketing roles of work experience.
Proven track record of supporting or leading go-to-market campaigns.
Experience working in channel distribution or IT/reseller industries is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience managing B2B digital platforms and optimizing performance.
Familiarity with product information management (PIM) and e-catalog systems.
Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)
Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with vendors, partners and others.
