Job summary

Emerson Automation in Malaysia is seeking an experienced software/driver engineer to develop drivers, software, and firmware for our hardware products. You will specify, design, implement, and test features while driving software excellence and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with Windows/Linux driver development and debugging tools.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (C/C++).
• More than 5 years of experience is required.
• Software design and architecture principles; OOP; hardware/software programming.
• Windows and Linux driver development and debugging tools familiarity.
